90 flats for rent will be built in Rožňava and 62 in Žilina
Rožňava plans to build three apartment houses with 90 flats for rent within 28 months; the scheduled price of this project is EUR 4.65 to 5.31 million, excl. VAT. Based on the conditions of the announced public procurement, the construction of the flats is to be funded by a subsidy from the Slovak Ministry of Construction and Regional Development, a loan from the State Fund for Housing Development and the city’s own resources. Bidders should request the tender specifications by 12 January, the deadline for submitting bids and opening bid envelopes is 26 January. The decision will be made on the basis of the lowest price and the bids have to be binding at least until 16 March 2009. A condition for participation in the award procedure is the average annual turnover in housing construction amounting at least to EUR 3.32 million over the last three years.
Additional 62 new flats for rent are to be built at the Hájik estate in Žilina by the end of May 2010, at the projected cost of EUR 2.56 million, excl. tax. Their construction should start this May and is set to be funded from loans from the Ministry of Construction, the State Fund for Housing Development and the city’s own resources. Requests for tender specifications shall be submitted by 13 January, the deadline for submitting bids and opening bid envelopes is 26 January. The decision will be made on the basis of the lowest price and the bids have to be binding at least until 30 May this year. The potential bidders must have had an annual turnover in housing construction amounting at least to EUR 4.98 million in 2006 and 2007.
