Krompachy and Liptovský Mikuláš to Receive New Apartments
Krompachy plans to build, within two years, two residential buildings with 42 apartments at the projected cost of €2.29 million minus VAT. Public tender conditions required the bidders to request the tender specifications by December 23, 2008 and to present their offer by the envelope opening date of January 19, 2009. Potential bidders would have reported an annual construction work turnover of at least €6.31 million in 2005–2007.
The City of Liptovský Mikuláš intends to erect, within eight months from April to late November 2009, an apartment building with 27 flats at the projected price of €1.39 million without tax. Tender conditions must be requested by January 12; sealed letters with bids will be opened on January 19, 2009. Bidders must prove that their 2005–2007 annual trading in identical or comparable business amounted at least to €3.32 million.
The construction of both projects shall be financed by a Ministry of Civil Engineering and Regional Development subsidy on procurement of rented housing and technical amenities, State Housing Development subsidy, and City Funds.
