The state will assist in the repayment of mortgages

The government gave the green the state aid to citizens who are not able to repay mortgages due to the economic crisis. According to the subject intention of the program, which the Cabinet has agreed the project should launch since the beginning of October this year. According to Prime Minister Robert Fico, however, the project should function in practice as late as next year. The state aid should be designed for clients of banks, who drawdown loans for housing and will not be able to repay them because of loss of employment due to the economic crisis. One of the terms of the assistance will be, however, that a citizen has no other property or funds for the repayment of those loans.
