Diversified Trigema increasing profit
Trigema Group reported a consolidated turnover of CZK 801 million in 2010, representing an increase of 28 %. The profit after tax increased by 78 % to CZK 91 million. Trigema runs a business in property development, construction and tourism – the fields hit by the crisis in 2010. “This crisis does us good, we have the opportunity to differentiate significantly from the others,” says Trigema CEO Marcel Soural. “In the euphoric days of growth and prosperity, when you just sell everything you produce, it is difficult to see differences between firms. Quality can be seen only when things get tough.” According to Soural, the group´s success is based on its diversification and co-operation of all its parts – there are property development, construction, business, and management firms inside the group. The group formed in 1994, opened a hotel and congress centre Academic in Roztoky nearby Prague in 2006, it operates a modern sports and recreation centre Monínec and it participated in the construction of a science and technology park in Roztoky. The development company is currently building the Barevné Letňany residential project.
