3 consortia are interested in construction, financing and operation of the multifunctional hall Arena Danube in Bratislava Petržalka in the value of 80 million Euro. The 1st is consisting of Skanska CZ Praha, Vítkovice Revmont Ostrava and architectural firm Helika Praha. In the 2nd consortium is architectural studio HOK Sport architecture, AEG London and financial group AIC Group & Finanz AG Zürich. The 3rd consortium is also HOK Sport architecture and AEG London. The Sports complex received the planning permission on December 05, 2008. The hall should have the capacity of 12 000 seats for ice hockey events and 15 000 for large concerts, musicals, theatre performances and exhibitions.
