Bratislava Petržalka will manage the balanced budget above 25.3 mills Euro in year 2009. The municipal district is not in the budget provisional arrangement after one-month period yet. Deputises decides about it at the latest session of the local authority. Most of money, almost 11.8 mills Euro will go to the educational system, i.e. for 11 elementary schools and 19 kindergartens. Substantial amount will go to social projects; the deputies approved about 1.2 mills Euro for them. The municipal district takes also saving measures, it relates to operation of the local office mostly.
The municipal district has involved several new projects in its budget. It involves necessary repairs of terraces, for example, on which it will give about 166 000 Euro. It also plans revitalization of smaller public playgrounds at price of about 66 000 Euro. It will also not avoid repairing pavements and roads or the building-up of new parking places. For these works 310 000 Euro is allocated in the budget so far.
Other children playgrounds would experience revitalization; there is approved the amount of above 310 000 Euro in the budget. Sad Janka Kráľa would also start revitalizing. Petržalka plans giving above 13 000 Euro for these works, but it will ask for a grant together. The project of front yards ought to continue, too, it means improving of local amenities initiative, for which 17 000 Euro is allocated so far.
