ŽSK deputies should approve participation in the Tritia project during today meeting of the Council. Its target is to increase attractiveness of Žilina Region, Moravian-Silesian Region and Silesian Duchy, which abut each other, to support their economies and to enhance their competitiveness. The expected budget of the 3year project funded from the Central Europe Operational Programme is nearly 1.55 mil. Euros. Regional deputies should also pass amendments and modifications of the statutory Order on Master Plan of the Great Territorial Unit of Žilina Region, according to which the potential of geothermal energy of thermal waters for relaxation and tourism in the area of Žilinská, Turčianská and Liptovská basin and Skorušická pan should be used for development of the relaxation, tourism and spa industries.
