According to Slovak RE Agency – a Slovak organization for renewable energy resources (RES), the construction of solar power plants could be completely stopped due to the Energy Law amendment approved by the government last week. “No roof installations, apart from smaller ones, will be built in the coming years in Slovakia and development of the sector will be fully stopped,” said the organization. It is not keen on the fact that all solar energy production facilities will need to have of the Certificate of Compliance of the investment project with the state energy policy from the Slovak Ministry of Economy under the amendment.
