Three new solar power plants are planned to be built near Hurbanovo. Three investors plan to invest approx. EUR 35,5 mill. in their construction. The company European Electronic Trading intend to build their first solar power plant costing approx. EUR 12,5 mill. in the south of Slovakia; Estates-Reality will build the second one for nearly EUR 12,5 mill. and the third one costing EUR 10,5 mill will be built by Maltech. The peak output of the power plants will be 11,1 Mwp (megawattpeak). A maximum of 9,9 GWh of electricity will be delivered to the national grid per year. They will by located south of Hurbanovo covering the area of nearly 233 thousand m2. Nearly 53 thousand photovoltaic panels will be used in their construction.
