Domestic architects and designers are going to introduce their creation in STM
In the Slovak technical museum (STM) at Košice the exhibition was made accessible last Friday approaching creation of interiors and design in Slovakia in years 2005 – 2007. The INTERIOR SK exhibition introduces almost 140 works from the area of interior and design creation through photos of professional photographers, created by prominent Slovak architects, designers, students and producers in years 2005 – 2007. Space exhibits are also a part of the exhibition – products intended for interiors facilitation like furniture, lights, useful glass and ceramics.
The collection rose in the frame of long-term documentation-advertising project initiated and being realized from spring 2008 by the Design Slovakia NGO association in order to map and make popular the interior creation in Slovakia. After more than half-year collecting works, during which organizers succeeded in collecting record 240 works, the jury consists of prominent professionals for interior creation and design, chose the representative collection at the beginning of October 2008 to be presented at touring poster exhibition and in a publication.
The INTERIOR SK 05/07 exhibition in Košice STM is lasting till March 1. After that it will be put accessible to public in Vienna and it has planned other two stops in other cities, as for example Budapest, Prague, Berlin or Banská Bystrica during year 2009.
