PENTA plans acquisition of Noves okná Company
Private equity Penta Investments Group is near to takeover of Noves okná (windows) Company, which is the producer of plastic and aluminium windows, doors, window blinds, insect screens and parapets. According to the Czech Internet portal Motejlek.com fulfilling only several conditions is missing to the transaction finalization and the Antimonopoly Office of SR (PMÚ) have also recorded an application of its appraisal since the end of January this year.
The goal of Penta is the creation of window holding in the Central Europe with largest assortment. The financial group already took-over the Poland producer of plastic windows and aluminium windows Okna Rąbień Company last year, which estimated its value for 60 mills Euro at the end of last year and engaged 550 employees. “We plan to take-over also other producers of windows in the region, to support ongoing expansion on the market in the Central Europe and the Eastern Europe. Czech and Slovakia are on the top of our list, we also have spread our networks over other markets,” Jozef Janov, the Managing Partner of the Group Penta, informed on the transaction that time.
