Bratislava welcomes the state subsidy for the new football stadium

Bratislava City welcomed the Government decision on financing the national football stadium construction on Tehelné pole (Tehelné field). According to the approved material the state should render 69.12 million € for this purpose during three years. The capital city will possess and provide its operation. The new stadium should have 4 stars according to the criteria by the European Football Union (UEFA), what means the minimum capacity of 20 thousand covered seats, a heated lawn, modern and large dressing rooms, rooms for basic medical care, restaurants, cafeterias and catering facilities for spectators and a sufficient number of sanitary facilities, too.
