The Water-management project in the basin of Topľa

East-Slovakia Water Company Košice (VVS) will spend on the project "Vranov – drinking water and sewerage in the Topľa River basin“3.402 million Euro from its own resources. For the total project costs in the amount of 42.526 million Euro contributes the European Union by the amount of 34.021 million Euro. The ambition of the project, whose construction began in September 2006, is to solve the lack of local resources of quality water and insufficient systems of both municipal sewerage and wastewater treatment in the Topľa River basin in the Vranov district according to VVS.
