Offices in Bratislava consisted of 1.233 million m2 in the 2nd quarter
At the end of June this year Bratislava had the total office spaces of 1.233 million square meters. It appears from the data of the Bratislava Research Forum (BRF), which consists of three consulting companies namely Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis and Colliers International. As further BRF stated, 61 % of the bid creates the office spaces of the A standard and the rest of the B standard. Since the beginning of this year by the end of June were completed 65.8 thousand square meters of new office spaces.
In the second quarter of this year transactions have been concluded involving the area of 17 thousand square meters, what represents the decline by nearly 7 thousand square meters versus the first quarter and semi-yearly by almost 10 thousand square meters. The most significant transaction in the second quarter of this year was the Lenovo expansion – Digital Park II with the area of 1.88 thousand square meters. The rate of the office spaces vacancy increased from 8.7% in the first quarter to 11.5% in the second quarter of this year.
