Bratislava offices reached 1,34 mill. m2 at the end of March

Bratislava had a total area of 1,34 million m2 office space at the end of March. Property grouping named Bratislava Research Forum (BRF) data show this. According to this research, A-standard offices comprised nearly 60 % of this offering, the rest were B-standard offices. 25 thousand m2 of new office space were completed in the first 3 months of 2010. They were renovation of a historical building at Hviezdoslavovo square and a multi-functional complex Eurovea with 24 thousand m2 of top-class office space. In terms of transactions, telecommunication sector was dominant (12 thousand m2), followed by IT (5,4 thousand m2). Vacancy rate in Bratislava´s offices increased from 11,8 % to 14,2 % compared to the fourth quarter of 2009.
