Unemployment rose to 12%

The unemployment rate in Slovakia rose to 12.07% in July from 11.89% in June. The proportion of people without work rose to the highest level since March 2005. Headquarters of Labour, Social Affairs and Family informed that the unemployment increased by 4.6 of percentage point compared with the seventh month of previous year. The number of people in the registration of employment agencies rose in the seventh month to 319 937 persons.
