Trnava fight-fighters want to built-up the new residence using Euro funds
The District and Regional headquarters of the Fire and Emergency Brigade at Trnava want have a new common residence. They want to build-up the object at price of approximately 5.64 millions Euro from means of Euro funds at he strategic locality, near Malženická road, next to the ground intended for an army archive. „This locality is clearly ideal, because makes connection to the northern municipal bypass. The building will be connected to the motorway D1 via it and to the planned southern bypass,“ Ivan Peťko, the speaker of the Regional headquarters HaZZ, informed. The fire station should also be settled in the new object. They plan to build-up heliport involving landing and taking-off pads for helicopters to be the facility of fight-fighters emergency activities.
As Peťko informed, the building of present fire station has unsuitable location in direct contact with historical core of the town. „From traffic point of view this locality is critical, because the main driveway of fire-fighting vehicles debouches to the firs-class road, which moreover has a function of inner urban ring,“ he informed. Layout of the station is also out of date in his view and the fire-path in front of garages and floors in the garages are in the emergency state. „Two of them are non functional,“ Peťko precise. Without using the Euro funds it is not possible to built-up the new residence due to capital expenditures. In case we succeeded and obtain the subsidies the object is ought to be finished in year 2013 at latest.
