The mood of consumers is improving

The moods of consumers continued improving in July. According to the Consumer barometer of the SR Statistical Office, an indicator of consumer confidence rose compared to June by 1.1 point to negative 32.2 points despite the fall in economic activity caused by the impact of economic crisis and continues to grow for the fifth month. In ranking of countries ranked according to decreasing consumer confidence index, Slovakia has occupied the 19th and the 20th position on the scale along with Malta. In the European Union as a whole from the previous month, consumer climate improved by two points to negative 21 points.
