envietech 2010: Strong impetus for environmental technology

“With an annual turnover surplus of twelve percent the environmental technology industry is one of the most dynamic growth industries in Austria. With envietech 2010, International Congress and Exhibition for Environmental Technology, we are giving this sector a strong impetus and push this important “green” growth market into the limelight.” Environment Minister Niki Berlakovich.

After the successful debut in 2008 envietech 2010 makes again at the Austria Center Vienna on 4 – 5 February Vienna a platform for environmental technology and shows current trends and concepts for future-oriented solutions. At forums on “environmental technology”, “renewable energy”, “waste and water management” and “financing of new sustainable technologies”, taking place parallel, a special emphasis is given to the respective individual priority issues. The accompanying exhibition shows most recent developments on this sector. The highlight of envietech 2010 is the award of the Austrian State Prize for Environmental and Energy Technology on 4 February 2010.

The international importance of the event is underlined by high-ranking keynote speakers. With Ronald O.
