1.369 million m2 of offices in Bratislava already
The total offering of office space in Bratislava exceeded 1.369 million m2 at the end of 2nd quarter of 2010. More than 60 % of this are A-standard offices and nearly 40 % are B-standard. Bratislava Research Forum (BRF) information – comprising of the real estate and consulting companies Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis and Colliers International – show this. 32 thousand m2 of new space were completed in the 2nd quarter. Two projects are in the centre and one on the outskirts of Bratislava. The multi-functional project River Park constitutes 29 thousand m2 of the total area of the new premises.
The transactions concluded during the 2nd quarter reached the area of 47 thousand m2, nearly a threefold year-on-year increase. In total, transactions concluded in the first six months reached the area of 70 thousand m2. The vacancy rate has decreased from original 14,2 % in the previous quarter to 13,6 %. It was the lowest in Bratislava 5 where it reached 9,9 %, followed by Bratislava 2 with 12,1 % and Bratislava 3 with 13,1 %.
