Bratislava: Investor started construction of Slnečnice at Južné mesto
Cresco Popper Investment started construction of Slnečnice zone as the 1st stage of C zone of the Južné město (South City) project at Bratislava´s Petržalka, it will include in addition to the residential part other residential, relaxation and commercial quarters. 70 family houses and nearly 200 flats will be built in floodplain forests, between the way to Rusovce and Petržalka´s dam wall. “Slnečnice is the only complex project offering family houses together with low-rise blocks of flats in Bratislava. So after a long time, family residential segment, which once prevailed there, returns to Petržalka,“ project manager Matej Ceconík said. The zone (scheduled to be completed in 2012) will also have cafés and shops on the ground floors of the blocks of flats. Developer Cresco Group and the international developer Avestus Real Estate (former Quinlan Private Golub) are involved in the construction of Južné mesto.
