The district has obtained the subsidy for reconstruction of social houses
The Nitra self-administration district (NSK) plans to reconstruct facilities of social services this year so as to be barrier-less. The Department of Labour, Social Matters and Family of SR have approved subsidies for 21 projects. The district will contribute them by 10 percentages of the entire costs, what presents 42 506.68 Euro. For example they will remove architectonic barriers at bathrooms and will buy equipments for better handling immobile clients in the Levice House of Social Services (DSS) in Komenského Street. Protected housing is planned be established in the DSS Topoľčany and the laundry technology modernized. A chair lift should be added to the residential object entrance in the Unified DSS at Horné Štitáre and a delivery truck for providing transport services for inhabitants with heavy health handicap. Barrier less entrance to rest zones is planned to be build-up at DSS Maňa and toilets for immobile clients modernized at the DSS Klastov.
