The limit for solar power plants exhausted

Igor Gallo, the spokesman of Slovak Electrical Transfer System (SEPS), said that the transfer system received 97 applications for building solar power plants. 36 projects, which fit into the limit of 120 MW of total output, were successful. “With regard to the fact that the limit was reached in evaluating applications with delivery number 57, 36 positive opinions and 21 negative opinions were given by SEPS second last week. The rest of delivered applications (40) were returned without evaluation,“ added Gallo. SEPS is not intending to issue positive opinions to the investors wanting to build solar power plants in Slovakia within the next two years.
