EUBE disappearing from the scene?
The property development company EUBE is no longer able to dispose of their assets, due to a court decision. Their assets at the moment are mainly projects under construction in Hradec Králové. The company is in insolvency as a result of a petition by the construction company Eurostav. They stopped co-operating with their PR agency in autumn, the phones are dead in their Prague headquarters, the same goes for the mobile phone of their director Allan Jírek. “From what I have heard, Eube´s director Allan Jírek has moved to South Africa where he opened a travel agency. I think it was their intention. We will probably never see the money again,“ said Petr Pečenka, director of the project design company Marex servis which also participated in Eube´s project in Hradec, to Hradecký deník newspaper. EUBE has two projects under construction in Eastern Bohemia‘s capital, another one was under preparation on the premises of a former tannery. According to the city´s management, their completion is not under threat. “The tannery project will definitely be taken over by another firm, the houses under construction will be completed by the banks which had financed them. The city´s investments, including a new parking building, will not be affected,“ deputy of Hradec mayor, Josef Malíř, said earlier.
