New four-language internet portal for Centrope inhabitants
The Centrope region is becoming increasingly interlinked, as can be seen in the newly created internet portal http://www.mycentrope.com/sk. Its operation commenced on 28th Oct. 2010 at the Wien City city ship terminal in the presence of distinguished guests from all 4 Centrope countries. Slovakia was represented by Pavol Frešo and Ivo Nesrovnal, chairman and vice-chairman of the Bratislava region; Austria by Rudolf Schicker, city councillor; Hungary by a representative of the city of Györ and the Czech Republic by Mojmír Jeřábek from the city of Brno. The Central-European region Centrope is one of the economically and culturally strongest regions in Europe. Its hub consists of Moravian region, Bratislava and Trnava surroundings, western part of Hungary and eastern Austria.
Mycentrope.com is intended for the inhabitants of the Centrope region and therefore no infomation in English can be found there. The platform facilitates “an experience without boundaries“, its visitors can find information about leisure time, shopping, culture from the four countries, there will be exclusive tourist offers, possibilities of independent travelling to these countries and valuable tips on Centrope countries and its people. The portal is available in all 4 languages of the Centrope region – in Slovak, German, Hungarian and Czech.
