Debt dropped, the town wants the loan for development projects

This year Košice will pay approximately 5.31 millions Euro (160 mills SKK) payoff. This is the amount with which the town budget banks on this year. The town insolventness dropped down to 33.19 millions Euro (approximately one billion SKK) at the end of December 2008. Liabilities from roads reconstruction PPP Projects realization are on the level of 8.29 mills Euro (250 mills SKK). This year the town plans to take the loan for development projects in the volume of above 4.2 mills Euro (approximately 128 mills SKK).

The town capital budget for year 2009 is a deficit one and banks on incomes in the amount of above 3.3 mills Euro (above 100 mills SKK) and expenditures in the amount of above 15.5 mills Euro (above 468.7 mills SKK). The self-government intends to pay out the deficit by incomes from financial operations and purchase of its own property and by the above-mentioned loan as well. Expected expenditures for the bus depot replacement from Alejová Street to Bardejovská Street, the Transportation Company Košice premises, are not involved in this year budget.

The town Program budget banks on 109 498 673 Euro incomes and 108 336 885 Euro expenditures this year and it is reasonably surplus – the gap is 1.161 mills Euro. The town intends to invest 28.14 mills Euro (848 mills SKK) in order to solve transportation, above 26 mills € (784 mills SKK) to solve education and 19.1 mills € (557 mills SKK) for environment. Expenditures for the town council operating are going to achieve up to 8.66 mills € (261 mills SKK).
