The Aupark Košice project goes forward in spite of the crisis
The discussion about the request of HB Reavis Slovakia Company on to work out trees and woods in the Námestie osloboditeľov and in the small park behind the Pamätník neznámeho vojaka (the Memorial of Unknown Soldier), which should abandon the building–up of the shopping-entertainment centre, is going to be held on March 10. As Roman Karabelli, the HB Reavis Slovakia speaker, told, it is considered to be an important step. „As we have already committed ourselves in the process of finding impacts to environment (EIA), we provided the project on substitute planting trees in adequate consideration instead of green vegetation, which is needed to be removed,“ Karabelli explained. HB Reavis Company continues in preparations for the building launch of Košice Aupark and this performance will shift the realisation forward. „The planning permission which has already been issued for the structure ought to become valid in a short time and to create space for the building proceeding launch by this way,“ he added.
