Dunajská Streda: 10 panel houses can obtain the contribution for warming up
The so called „panel program“ has already being realized at Dunajská Streda the third year, in which panel houses can ask the town for nonrecurring non-refundable financial contribution. Every year the fund with the financial means of 100 000 Euro can be used for that purpose, while the nonrecurring non-refundable contribution of 9 958 € can be lent for reconstruction of one residential house. After 2 years they warmed up 20 houses in the town and this year other ten panel houses turn will apparently come, because the interest is still high according to the data of the municipal office. Also in previous two years this chapter of the town budget was spent and inhabitants of those houses appreciated the help of the town, Zoltán Páapy, the chief of financial department, stated.
The town intends to help inhabitants indirectly by this program in order they would pay less for heating thanks of the outer insulation. Panel houses with a new facade ought to glamorise the look of housing developments, which were build-up in the 70-tieth of previous century. The town self-administration started the program of renewal out-of-date residential houses in year 2007, after that, when the local authority allocated 3 millions SKK for this purpose in the budget for year 2007.
