550 flats, administrative buildings, shops and a four-star hotel will grow-up in the area of the former brewery Heineken at Nitra in near future. IAD Investments investor is being realized the ambitious project Nová Nitra (New Nitra) in co-operation with the developer company WBA property development. The costs of the project first phase, which ought to be finished, till the end of year 2010, present 13.3 mills Euro. The new housing ward will have small squares, green vegetation, shops and services. Two historical objects of the brewery – the administrative building and the malt-house – ought to be kept. The dominant of the 4.6 ha area will be the 13-storeyed high building. The four-star hotel will have 100 rooms and 200 beds, the congress hall and wellness centre will also be there. Outer and underground parking places are concerned; 200 parking places will create in the first phase, 70 underground ones hereof. The first 63 flats ought to be finished till the end of year 2010.
