Czech Chamber of Real Estate Agencies becomes a member of the Economic Chamber

The Czech Chamber of Real Estate Agencies (ČKRK) has become a member of the Czech Economic Chamber. According to its President Bedřich Skalický, this step is especially motivated by an effort to participate in the preparation of legislation – the Economic Chamber is one of the sites participating in the interdepartmental comments procedure which is engaged in the formation of new and in the modification of existing legal regulations. “We want to work actively on legislative changes that would result in a significant cultivation of the real estate market, creating new conditions for the business of real estate brokers,” says the Chamber’s President. The Czech Economic Chamber has over 13,000 members (13,155 at 23 March 2009). The share of the Economic Chamber’s members in the Czech Republic’s total GDP is 60%; the member companies employ two-thirds of all employable residents of the Czech Republic.
