Skalica already started the Town Hall reconstruction

Skalica started a complex reconstruction of the historical Town Hall registered as a national cultural monument in the Central List of the Monument Fund of SR. As informed Marek Gula from the department of strategic development and marketing of the municipal office at Skalica, the project received a subsidy of 1 044 453 Euro, of which 887 785 comes from the EHP financial mechanism and Norwegian financial mechanism. According to Gula the reconstruction is needed due to the poor technical state of the building; the repair mainly requires its roof section. They will reconstruct the façade of the Town Hall in historical style from sides from Main Street and the square.
