Italian investors head into the Levice industrial zone

Three new Italian investors are coming to the industrial zone at Levice. Two operate in the cosmetic industry, the third one in the field of logistics. As the mayor Štefan Mišák told, they together would occupy 11 ha. Two plants are to be finished by the end of this year, the third one next year. They will stand in the new part of the Industrial zone Levice – South by which the current 65-per hectare zone is to be extended by further 30 ha. So far, 12 primarily foreign investors have been established here. Companies invested together about 232.4 million € and employ about 1 600 people. The number of jobs should gradually increase to 2 000. The biggest employer is the German engineering firm ZF Sachs Slovakia with one thousand workers.
