According to Jones Lang LaSalle, volumes of direct investments in real estate in Europe reached the value of EUR 23 bill. during the second quarter of this year. This is a 15 % growth compared to the first quarter and even 80 % year-on-year increase. In year-on-year comparison of investment volume investments remained stable at EUR 43 bill. While Jones Lang LaSalle analysts expect that European property investments may reach the value of EUR 100 bill. in 2010. Great Britain was the leader of investment activity recovery, their share in total European investments accounted for 40 %. An increased interest of investors is also visible in the property markets in France, Germany and Scandinavia.
