Bratislava: Winner of the architectural competition for Čulenova projects is Zaha Hadid Architects!

The winner of international architectural competition for the multi-functional development project Čulenova in Bratislava, announced by the investment group Penta Investments, is the architectural studio Zaha Hadid Architects from Great Britain. It was selected from over 90 submitted works by an expert panel. “The international architectural competition for the Čulenova location and the participation of major world architects is an example of how both the developer and equally the city authorities should seek to find the best architectural concept,“ said head architect at Penta investment group, Miro Hrušovský. According to the leader of the panel – head architect of Bratislava City Štefan Šlachta – the project by Zaha Hadid was the most complex and the most convincing solution, meeting best the given criteria. “It is a project which will bring a world-renown name, which will move the city onto the pages of world architectural press,“ he added.
