CPI Group bought Bauhaus in České Budějovice

Real estate group CPI Group continues to further the strategic expansion of its portfolio in the regional capitals. They bought a commercial complex with the major tenant being the DIY store Bauhaus, for CZK 435 mill. from IMMOFINANZ Group and EYEMAXX Real Estate. It has been their second investment in the South Bohemia Region. CPI Group confirmed its strengthened position in the Czech regions by its activities in the recent months. In the summer, they expanded their flat stock by 2,700 flats in Litvínov; they are completing an administration and commercial complex with a hotel in Ústí nad Labem. They expanded their office and retail space portfolio by the shopping centre IGY in České Budějovice, in addition, they are planning reconstruction of the nearby hotel Gomel. The latest acquisition by the group – Bauhaus DIY store – has an area of 42,000 sqm including 380 parking spaces and it is located in the vicinity of the Géčko shopping centre.
