Crisis is finishing; the town is opening the covered swimming place
Trenčín reversed the extraordinary situation declared in connection with the gas crisis and lifted constrains on gas supplies for the town facilities with the gas withdrawal above 60 thousand m3 yearly. It related to the town covered swimming place, the sport hall, the winter stadium and the object of the Town Administration and Forest Service. Operational constrains inflicted on those facilities lasted 11 days; households did not feel breach of gas supplies from Russia.
„Since 05:00 am all thermal-technical equipments owned by the Trenčín town above 60 thousand m3 of gas withdrawal has been under normal operating regime,” Jana Marková from the Trenčín major office, told. The covered swimming place is going to be opened today afternoon. The covered swimming place protector, IB správcovská Company, used last week for cleaning the swimming pool, the swimming place rooms painting and repairs. The hall was heated using electricity during gas supplies constrain; at the winter stadium there were heated dressing rooms only.
As minister of industry, Ľubomír Jahnátek, informed after proceedings of the crisis task force, gas started flowing to Slovakia using reverse flow thanks of emergency supplies from Czech. He did not know to assume, when supplies from Russia via Ukraine could retrieve to Slovakia. As to him Russia and Ukraine parties have to sign up the technical protocol.
