The town wants public-private partnership to use the barracks

Public-private partnership should facilitate the implementation of the large project of using the former military barracks under Zobor at Nitra. Part of the buildings of the extensive complex obtained the city from the Ministry of Defence in the autumn of 2008; a part has obtained the Archaeological Institute. Most of the land belongs to the bishop's office. The area is seedy and most buildings are in poor condition. The city now faces a question where of taking money for revitalization. "Large projects exceeding 50 million Euro can not be achieved by own means, but only through public-private partnership.
