Ružomberok to Erect a Multi Purpose Building
Unibuild intends to commence the construction of a €16.6 million multipurpose building in central Ružomberok this year. „The new multipurpose building in Hurbanova Street will be the logical last touch to bring new life to the Revúca Riverbank Promenade under the River Park Project. It will be a follow-up to the Aupark and modernized bus and railroad stations. This will give fresh impetus to the development of the town center,“ notes Ružomberok MP Pavol Fischer.
The building will have the full public utilities, office spaces, and around 100 apartments. The investor has also promised to provide a four-level parking house for 500 vehicles. „The parking house will come complete with a pedestrian bridge and a road bridge over the river Revúca from the present-day roundabout near the Hypernova shopping center,“ says the company's executive director Martin Sečanský. With all the necessary permits obtained and documentation provided, construction could start in April 2009. The investor envisages completion by December 2010 at the latest.
