40 percent of lighting is on the border of lifetime at Ružomberok

The Ružomberok town hall executed the audit on lighting, which shows that 40% of masts are on the border of lifetime and energy consumption for lighting is by 50% higher than could be using modern technologies. „Finances for the reconstruction can be obtained through EU projects, the city budget or with the help of a financially strong partner,“ explained the head of the division Street lighting Siemens Richard Procik. "So far we were unsuccessful twice in the Norwegian grant. Currently, we apply for a portion of the money for lighting within the grant for the revitalization of housing developments. If that will not be successful, we will consider the cooperation with Siemens, "said the mayor of Ružomberok Michal Slašťan.
