Building production of SR increased by 11.9 percentages in year 2008
Building production of SR increased by 11.9 percentage up to 189.878 bills SKK (6.303 bills €) compared with previous year. 181.946 bills SKK (6.039 bills €) felt to domestic building industry production hereof and it was higher by 11.1%. The Slovak republic Bureau of Statistics informed about it. New building-up, reconstruction and modernization recorded the volume of 148.969 bills SKK (4.945 bills. €) involving the increase by 8.1% compared with previous year, whereas repairs and maintenance in the volume 32.362 bills SKK (1.074 bills €) increased by 27.4 % in the frame of domestic building production. Building works abroad increased by 33.9 % up to 7.932 bills SKK (263.29 mills €) last year. Ratio of new building-up, modernization and reconstruction in the structure of domestic production decreased by 2.2 % point down to 82% in year 2008 and the portion of repairs and maintenance increased by 2.2 % point up to 17.7 %.
