Profit of biggest worldwide renter of offices increased
Regus Company, which is the biggest worldwide renter of office spaces informed, that it achieved the profit increase by 25% before tax in year 2008, what is better result than expected by analytics. The Regus Company profit before tax increased to the amount of 149.2 mills pounds (GBP) in year 2008 from the amount of 119.4 mills GBP in year 2007. Analytics assumed that the company profit before tax will be on the level of 139.8 mills to 150.1 mills GBP, so the average would be on the level of 145.8 mills GBP. The offer of Regus Company, which rents furnished offices for short period, whereas the shortest possible rent is for a half day, is cheap solution for customers in the period of the crisis. At the beginning of year 2008 the company implemented the program, in the frame of which customers can pay for services beforehand and have possibility to use any from 950 centres of the firm all over the world. After the information about the profit before tax increase was published the Regus Company shares jumped up by 20 %.
