Nitra is extraordinary successful in obtaining money from Euro funds
The town under Zobor is successful in obtaining finances for projects from EU funds. In applied and evaluated projects it achieved 100 percentage successes till now. The newest subsidy, which Nitra obtained, is for complex renovation of three elementary schools – Topoľová (1.44 millions Euro), Benkova (above three millions Euro) and Fatranská (1.89 millions Euro). The town will finance it commonly by 5 percentages of costs.
They will warm up buildings, repair roofs and replace windows, distributions, floors, and lights, heating bodies. The self-administration has obtained totally 3 187 000 Euro for the building-up of compost works in the municipal district Krškany. EU contributed to support the Energy Agency by the amount of 250 thousand Euro. The town also intends to obtain money for reconstruction of the former child hospital, Asylum house, the Town house and realization of the intelligent system of transport managing. The major Jozef Dvonč believes that Nitra will also success in obtaining the subsidy for the building-up of 92 rental houses.
