Dopravoprojekt designed 8 from 13 stages of PPP
Dopravoprojekt, a.s. Bratislava, the biggest Project and Engineering-consultancy Company in Slovakia, designed 8 from 13 motorway stages involved into 3 packages of PPP projects. Gabriel Koczkáš, the chairman of the Executive Board of Directors and CEO of Dopravoproject informed about it in connection with the beginning of the R1 fast highway 4 stages building-up between Nitra and Tekovské Nemce and the northern bypass of Banská Bystrica in the length of about 52 km.
The minister of transport Ľubomír Vážny and the president of French company Vinci Fradi Selwan signed the concession contract on the building-up and operating the selected stages of the R1 fast highway on March 23, 2009. The winner in the tender French-Holland consortium Vinci Concessions S.A. – ABN AMRO Highway B.V. submitted the offer in the amount of 1.5 bills Euro. During 30-year lasting concession for R1 the total amount of 3.465 bills Euro ought to be paid gradually from the state budget to the French-Holland concessionaire.
