Skanska with the fall of orders by 33 percentages in Q1

Swedish building company Skanska notified that its orders in building felt by 33% to 22.9 bills Swedish crown (SEK) inter-yearly in Q1 2009. Revenues in building industry presented 29.8 bills SEK in Q1 2009 compared with 30.5 bills SEK in the same period of year 2008. The CEO Johan Karlstrom notified that in case of ongoing fall of orders further economy measures will be needed. Sells of residential buildings felt by 47% compared with Q1 of previous year, whereas the biggest fall became evident in Czech republic and Finland. On the contrary revitalization proved on the Swedish and Norway market, where the company sold more residential buildings than in Q1 2008.
