The four-star hotel at Nitra is questionable

The building-up of the four-star hotel in the Nitra centre is uncertain. Inpek s.r.o. firm should build it up on the place of the decaying House of Culture Orbis. As the vice-major, Štefan Štefek, told, „Orbis will surely be demolished, the question is, whether the hotel with the congress hall will grow-up there or something similar. “ The hotel should have 256 beds, the congress hall involving the capacity of 400 places and roughly 200 parking places. The investor declared, by Štefek, that it will not change the planned outer look of the building. What will be inside, just time will bring. „The end of year 2008 and year 2009 are not entirely suitable apparently for certain business programs, “the vice-major stated. Inpek Company bought Orbis from the town at the beginning of year 2008. Now the firm is seeing to the demolition permission so as to demolish the decaying object. Nitra already tried solving the problem with Orbis two years. The four-storey building, used till year 1990, is long-time in an emergency state.
