HB Reavis is not preparing a campaign on Trenčín Aupark
The Investor of Aupark at Trenčín is no preparing a massive campaign against the referendum. It is just preparing the 3D model, which will be viewed in the city centre. „We do not exclude the presentation via clipboards, but a massive campaign through local media is not being prepared,“ said Roman Karabelli the HB Reavis Slovakia spokesman. The topic of Aupark between Knieža Pribina and Palackého Streets divided people and political parties. HB Reavis would like to start building Aupark for 33 million € already next year. The strongest opposition party in the city council, Smer-SD, has initiated a petition against its construction next to the historic core. Signed by 8 666 people, the mayor Branislav Celler (SDKÚ-DS) has decided to announce the referendum on July 11.
