At Jasná there is being built the world's unique 8-seater cable car

At Jasná there began the construction of the 8-seater cable car Grand Jet with the capacity of 2 400 persons per an hour for 13 mills €. Into service is to be put already in the winter season. It will operate in the area Grand-Brhliská as the original cableway; however, its route is to be extended to the Grand Hotel. The downhill course will therefore be moved and a tunnel for cars created. As part of the implementation the artificial snowing with the length of 1.7 km will be constructed. According to Katarína Šarafínová, the marketing director of the Centre Jasná, Low Tatras, the design of the cabins – black frames and orange glass – is the worldwide unique.
