Various are interested in Bratislava Danube Arena
Several players are interested in the construction project, financing as well as operation of the new multifunctional hall Danube Arena Petržalka. As informed the spokeswoman of the Bratislava self-administration region, Milka Podmajerská, 14 candidates took over the bases till July 10, 2009. „Results of the bids comparison, where the architectural quality of the idea proposal, the price for elaboration, the design documentation, the construction price, the length of construction but also references of candidates will be decisive, would be known by the end of August,“ she detailed. The specification for the bidding indicates that the construction of the arena is needed to be initiated in 2009; the assumed date of completion is 2011.
