METRO will build second wholesale centre in Bratislava

METRO Cash & Carry will build their second wholesale centre in Bratislava. It will be located in the Bory commercial park which is being built in the cadastral area of metropolitan districts Lamač and Devínska Nová Ves. Opening is planned for October 2010. 220 new jobs will be created in the region. Zuzana Krenyitzká from AMI Communications Slovakia informed about this. METRO Cash & Carry SR is a member of multinational group Metro Cash & Carry International which is represented in 30 countries, with 655 cash & carry wholesale centres. METRO Cash & Carry Slovakia employs 1380 people in Slovakia and their sales reached EUR 439 mill. excl. VAT.
