Žilina: Town flats were auctioned the second times

The possibility of voluntary auction while selling town flats used the town of Žilina the second times. 19 inhabitants expressed an interest in two flats, a kitchenette apartment and a one-roomed flat. The kitchenette apartment was sold at the auction price of 18 thousand Euro. "In this case, the form of auction was the most effective way how to sell the surplus city property. The aim was to derive maximum benefit and to sell the town flats for the best price, "said the deputy mayor Michal Horecký. The town will use the money from the auction for the construction of rental and social flats.

Historically the first voluntary auction with an offer of three apartments was executed at Žilina in April of this year. 27 people were interested in the flats that time and one kitchenette apartment was sold at the price of 21 thousand Euro.
